Does this upload my photo to a server?

No. The transform runs entirely in your browser using the Canvas API. Your image data never leaves your device, so the tool works offline once the page is loaded and there's no privacy risk.

What image formats are supported?

JPG, JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP, and HEIC (Safari/iOS). Output is downloaded in the same format as the input by default.

Will I lose quality after rotating?

No. A 90° rotation is a lossless pixel rearrangement - every pixel keeps its exact value, just in a new position. JPG re-encoding can introduce minor compression, so we use PNG-quality where possible for the result.

How is this different from rotating in my phone gallery?

Same result, but our tool also gives you the option to open the rotated image directly in our AI editor for further edits like background removal, upscaling, or style transfer - without re-uploading.

Can I rotate multiple photos at once?

Right now, this tool processes one image at a time. Bulk rotation is on our roadmap. For multiple files, repeat the rotate-and-download flow per image.

Is there a file size limit?

Yes - 40 MB per image. Most phone photos are well under this limit. If your file is larger, compress it first with our compress tool.
