How it works

  1. 1

    Drop photos + design watermark

Drag in 1 to 30 photos. Type your text or upload a logo - same controls as our other watermark modes.

  2. 2

Switch to Tile mode + tune pattern

The Tile button locks the pattern. Spacing slider sets distance between tiles (5-80% of photo). Rotation slider tilts the grid (-90° to +90°).

  3. 3

    Save all as ZIP

Tile-watermarked batch bundles into watermarked-photos-<date>.zip with one click. Pattern stays consistent across mixed-size photos.

Why use this online tool

Strong protection

A repeating diagonal pattern covers the whole image - removing it via cropping is essentially impossible without losing most of the photo.

Tunable density

Spacing slider (5-80%) controls how aggressive the pattern is - tight grids feel like proof prints, sparse grids feel decorative.

Rotation that flatters

30° default tilt avoids accidental alignment with photo content (which 0° often does). Tunable from -90° to +90° for vertical / horizontal patterns.

Bulk + browser-side

Same one-click ZIP export as our other watermark modes. Up to 30 photos at once, never uploaded.

When to use it

  • Stock photo previews with strong diagonal watermark to prevent screenshot reuse
  • Photographer client galleries marked 'PROOF' across every preview frame
  • Real estate listing photos protected before public posting
  • Document scans marked 'DRAFT' or 'CONFIDENTIAL' across the whole page
  • Educational / institutional archives stamped with provenance across every image

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between tile and corner watermark?
Corner watermark is decorative - a small © Studio 2026 in the bottom-right, easy to crop out. Tile watermark covers the whole photo - removing it would require destroying most of the image. Pick tile when you need real protection, corner when you just want a brand stamp.
Can I use my logo for the tile pattern?
Yes - upload your logo in Logo mode, then switch to Tile. Each tile cell renders your logo at the chosen scale, repeating diagonally. Spacing controls density.
Why is the rotation default 30° and not 0°?
0° tiles often align with photo edges or content (faces, horizon lines), making the pattern visually clumsy. 30° rotation guarantees the grid runs across the photo regardless of subject orientation - more stable, less distracting.
Does this upload my photos?
No. Tile watermarking runs in your browser like every other watermark mode. Up to 30 photos, locally processed, ZIP-bundled.
Will the tile pattern look the same on landscape vs portrait?
Yes - spacing and tile size are computed against each photo's shorter dimension, so the pattern density stays consistent regardless of aspect ratio.
