This Privacy Policy describes how EdMyPic ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our AI photo editing service at edmypic.com.
1. Information We Collect
Account Data: When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. If you sign in with Google or another OAuth provider, we receive only the information shared by that provider (typically name, email, and profile photo).
Usage Data: We log your activity within the editor, including the type of AI operations performed (background removal, image editing, upscaling) and credit consumption. This data is used to calculate your remaining credits and to display your usage history.
Generated Content: Images you upload and AI-generated results are processed through third-party AI model providers. We do not permanently store your uploaded images or generated outputs beyond the duration of your editing session.
Technical Data: We may collect standard server logs including IP address, browser type, and referring URLs for security and analytics purposes.
2. Payment Data
We do not store your payment card details. All payment processing is handled by a third-party payment processor — currently Stripe, Inc. Your card number, CVV, and other sensitive financial data are transmitted directly to and stored by the payment processor under their own security policies.
The identity of our payment processor may change at any time without prior notice. Any replacement processor will be held to equivalent industry-standard security requirements (PCI-DSS compliance).
3. How We Use Your Data

- To manage your account, credits, and subscription billing
- To send transactional emails (receipts, account notifications)
- To enforce our Terms of Service and prevent abuse
- To analyze aggregate usage patterns and improve AI model selection
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
4. Third-Party Embeds
The EdMyPic editor may be embedded on third-party websites and applications by domain owners who use our embed feature. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, terms of service, or data handling policies of third-party websites that embed our editor. Your interaction with an embedded editor remains subject to this Privacy Policy, but the embedding site may independently collect additional data about your visit.
5. Cookies
We use essential cookies to maintain your login session. We may use analytics cookies to understand how the service is used. You can configure your browser to reject cookies, but some features (such as staying logged in) may not function correctly without them.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Credit usage history is retained for up to 12 months. If you delete your account, your personal data will be removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by applicable law.
