FLUX 2 Pro is Black Forest Labs' newest flagship model — the upgrade path from FLUX 1.1 Pro and FLUX Kontext Dev. The headline gains are sharper prompt adherence (the model reads long, specific instructions and follows them rather than averaging them) and finer detail in the output (skin pores, fabric weave, micro-texture). For image editing it accepts up to 8 reference images and produces edits that look closer to what a Photoshop retoucher would deliver than a typical AI workflow.
